James Morphey and Edward Farrier found guilty on an indictment for robbing Thomas Ball of a foreign silver coin (called a French crown and with a value of 4/6), 10 gold guinea and £7 in money numbered in his dwelling house in the parish of Walberton on 7th May 1742; and of 6/- in money numbered on 13th May 1742.  No reprieves traced.
